Sreet Music end of project party 23rd Nov '08

Last night I filmed the young people and tutors of the Street Music Project. The 3 year funded project based around working with young people excluded from mainstream education to teach them Hip Hop skills is coming to an end. The project teach's DJ skills, scratching & mixing. Rapping, writing lyrics etc and using Mac's (Logic & Garageband) to make beats and their own tracks.

PLYM - 17th Nov '08

Today I facilitated a 1 day art workshop for 4th Year Medical Students from the Peninsula Media School.

The following designs are examples we came up with for the Pre Op waiting area for Young People at Derryford Hospital in Plymouth. These designs will be shown to Staff and Patience at the hospital. The feedback will then shape the rest of the project.

The wall surface are for the vinyl prints is 3m x 18.5m in high resolution!

MED Theatre Dartmoor Resource Video Session

During the session this week we conversted dome VHS footage of a MED Theatre Poduction to MiniDV, captured it to Final Cut Pro and then converted to a format suitable for uploading to Youtube.

Photoshop & Web Design Tuition

I recently gave some 1 to 1 tuition to someone at the Exeter Phoenix Media Centre. The tuition was in basic and intermediate uses of Photoshop and Dreamweaver. We also looked at the different ways website can be made and different aspects of the Internet.

This weeks session involved discussion about the overall design of the Dartmoor Resources Website.
